Jack Hou is our strategic partner of EverBright Finance. Previously, Jack has amassed 15 years of experience working in four international financial institutions, including three major banks in New Zealand. His positions within ANZ included head of migrant banking, regional manager of retail/business bank (leading more than 60 specialist bankers across four departments in Auckland), and acting regional manager for the Wellington North Region with 12 branches. He is also the founder of the Asian Retail & Business Bank Divisions for the Wellington Region.
Jack is passionate about helping migrants and returning Kiwis enter into home & business ownership. As Subway’s global franchisee, Jack used to own/operate two of the busiest Subway stores in Central Wellington City. He’s keen to share his corporate & entrepreneurial experience to help customers & their businesses grow. As a vibrant, motivational leader, he develops high performing individuals and teams. Innovative and entrepreneurial, Jack has a strong ability to launch new business strategies and own growth segments with superior revenue growth.
Jack has a Master of Management Studies in finance (1st class honours) & BMS (1st Class Honours) from the University of Waikato. He is currently a board member of EMA China Centre and formerly a board member of the ANZ Staff Foundation. In his spare time, Jack enjoys swimming, travelling, and practising Wing Chun martial arts.
